When we measure a client for a bespoke suit, we take more than 20 measurements for the jacket and more than 15 measurements for the trousers of the suit. Apart from the measurements our pattern drafters will also make note on the body shape and angles to get a more accurate first fitting. Lastly we do take profile shots from all angles for the pattern drafters future reference, these steps all help get a better fit.
